School Shows

On average, VTS visits between 50 to 100 schools a year with shows specially designed for student audiences.

Our school touring company includes three performers plus a stage manager. Check out this teaser video.

Instant Improv

Improvised sketch comedy at its very best. The audience provides the inspiration in the form of suggestions, and the improvisers provide the entertainment in the form of hilarious improvised scenes. Instant Improv allows the audience to see their ideas instantly transformed into reality. Whether reconstructing the story of an audience member’s first day at school or a recess mishap, each Instant Improv performance is as unique as its audience.

For audiences grades K-12.

Made in Canada

In 2017, Canada celebrates its 150th Anniversary. Canadians have invented many things in various fields and industries including the lightbulb, zipper, and basketball. We seldom get much acknowledgement for these inventions but they helped identify who we are. Made in Canada is an improv comedy show based on a wide array of Canadian-driven inventions. Content will also be generated by the audience through suggestions and participation.

For audiences grades K-12.

Thanks so much to Taz and Sarah Dawn for putting on such an amazing performance at our Middle School today. All of our staff and students left with huge smiles on their faces and only positive things to say. One student even said to me it was the first school assembly he actually liked. A pleasure as always!

We loved it! We wanted more! Our students could have stayed and stayed. Holding the attention of all students from K-7 is not to be taken lightly… you did it!

Alberni District Secondary

They were absolutely brilliant, age-appropriate, hilariously funny, and just what we expected. Thanks for lining this up for us. Only feedback - the kids wanted more!!!

Glanford Middle School

VTSL arranged for four amazing performers to come out to the school we were billeting at in Coquitlam...That’s what experiences like this can do; they open you up to opportunities you didn’t recognize you had.
