Teen Improv Ensemble Program

Our Teen Improv Ensemble Program is designed to grow the advanced improv skills of youth who are keen to perform. Over the 8 weeks together, the teens will be coached to work together as a strong ensemble. They will be reminded of improv basics and work on further games and formats. Their final showcase will be a format of their own choosing. Space is limited for this class.

Prerequisites:

  • Completion of prior improv teen training at VTS
  • A strong understanding of improv basics
  • A willingness to be coached
  • A positive mindset
  • Ability to take direction and notes in order to improve skills

Upcoming Sessions

  • Sundays, January 19 & 26, February 2, 9 & 23, March 8, 15 & 22 (No class on 16th Feb due to Family Day Long Weekend. No class on 1st March.)
    • Time: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Location: Carousel Theatre – 1411 Cartwright St, Granville Island
    • Instructor: T.B.A
    • Cost: $329
    • Showcase: Sunday March 22 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m at the Improv Centre Theatre

Cancellation Policy

An administration fee of 25% of the workshop cost is retained upon cancellation. If cancelled within 2 weeks of the workshop start date NO amount is refunded. An administration fee of $15 is retained upon class exchanges. There are NO exchanges once a class has commenced. 100% of the workshop cost is retained in the event of non attendance.
