Teen Improv: Summer Intensive

A two-week Summer Intensive for teens offers participants a fun-filled immersion into the basic skills of good improvisation.

Teen Improv: Summer Intensive

Our two-week Teen Improv Summer Intensive offers a fun-filled immersion into the core skills that are necessary for good improvisation. Students will be coached in the areas of creativity, teamwork, trust of their own ideas, acceptance of the ideas of others, listening, story-telling, character creation and environment work. Our experienced and very supportive improv teachers will guide the students through a variety of improv games and exercises to hone the skills needed for good improvised scenes. The students will then showcase their improv skills in a live performance on Sunday July 28th. This class is perfect for students interested in strengthening their performance or presentation skills or for students who want to be a little more outgoing. Come play with us!

Testimonials:

“My daughter and my friend’s son were in Teen Camp this week.
I just wanted to tell you that they loved the camp! There was a lot of praise for the teachers from both kids. As a parent, I thought the showcase was a great added bonus and we really enjoyed seeing our kids in a very professional production.
I’m sure that you’ll be seeing more of both kids in future camps.”

“Every day, my son is more and more animated and excited and outgoing about going to camp. Every day he comes out of it talking non-stop about what they did. We know ‘#ImprovChangesLives’ and it’s so awesome to see that happening with him, particularly as he heads into high school this fall.”
