Is team building for teachers important?
From our experience working with many teams of educators over the years – very important.
Our Team Building for Teachers sessions focus on bringing together a collaborative team that actively seek opportunities to support each other, work together, create and innovate.
Aside from immediately boosting staff morale and connecting the staff in a unique way, there are tangible takeaways that can be applied in the staff room, but also in the classroom.
“it was such a great way to start off our school year. We’re still talking about it weeks later. A great morale boost and tons of practical techniques we use every day”
– Sarah, Grade 5 teacher, Vancouver
We often work with staff during a Pro-D Day activity early in a new school year (September or October), but we also have very effective Team Building for Teachers sessions throughout the school year.
These are fun workshops that demonstrate the importance of shared laughter, as well as a healthy approach to work-life balance, while highlighting effective collaboration techniques, new approaches to problem-solving, embracing the unpredictable, being a positive and flexible teammate and handling change and the unexpected in the classroom.
“Your facilitators were great and our staff and I had a wonderful time. We’ll definitely be having you back next September to start us off on the same page and all pulling together”
– Cathy, North Vancouver
We have customized 2-hour, half-day and full-day sessions that are packed with relevant and actionable takeaways.
Groups we work with consistently tell us our interactive sessions had a lasting impact, bringing them much closer to their colleagues, while specifically addressing challenging issues they deal with every day.
