VTSL improvisers take a loving and comedic look at what makes us uniquely Canadian – poking fun at the stereotypes of Canada and Canadians.
Based on audience suggestions, the cast lampoon such Canadian ‘institutions’ as Heritage Minutes, the Mounties, winter, our hunky Prime Minister, hockey, lumberjacks or Timmy’s coffee to name only a few of the endless possibilities. As this is improv and the show is made up on the spot, no two shows are ever the same. Celebrate Canada 150, by joining us for some distinctively Canadian laughs. You’ll be nicer for it eh.

Vancouver TheatreSports League’s Oh, Canada: The True North Strong and Funny is really the best way to celebrate. Not only does it touch on many of our collective accomplishments (some of them real) and stereotypes, but it highlights perhaps our greatest trait: our sense of humour."
Loved, loved, loved 🇨🇦 Oh, Canada, The "Canadians" on stage were sooo funny 😂
and of course our gorgeous Boy Scout, merit badges, canoe and all.....priceless.
The funniest comedy show in Vancouver."
I – and the enthusiastic audience – weren’t disappointed. In fact, it was one of the best shows I’ve seen in the last few years."
Always a laugh-until-you-pee performance!"
This is an entertaining evening! It is easy to get into the spirit of things. The comedians are wonderful, and it is pure fun. It would be different each time you go, and always a laugh a minute."
