Merry Kiss-mas

Join us for seasonal mirth and merriment from Nov 21 through Dec 24 as the VTS Channel presents an improvised holiday romantic comedy.

Merry Kiss-mas

Merry Kiss-mas is a shiny new Christmas parody show packed full of rib-tickling Yuletide mirth. If you’ve ever seen a holiday movie, you’ll love the laugh-a-minute theme of this year’s production: all those cheesy, tinsel-covered cliches from almost every holiday film and festive TV special ever made. A cheeky, affectionate homage to onscreen Christmas nostalgia––stuffed with a turkey-full of big belly laughs––the show’s first half takes suggestions from the audience to recreate well-known holiday movie scenes and characters. That’s followed by a completely improvised, audience-driven second half in which the cast create a brand new festive special, forged from a sugar-frosted arsenal of Christmas movie tropes. Not sure which holiday film to watch on TV this year? Watch ’em all with this VTS show! Merry Kiss-mas runs from November 21 through December 24.

This show is suitable for families with children ages 7 and up. In addition to the evening performances there are family matinees,

If you only do one thing in Vancouver to celebrate the season, then you have to check out Merry Kiss-mas ... the perfect remedy for anyone feeling overwhelmed by the stress that comes with this time of year, planning.

Merry Kiss-mas is the one holiday event that won’t cause you to be warm and fuzzy but rather jiggle your jelly belly with laughter ... By the end of the first half, I laughed so hard that my liquid eyeliner pooled into Lake Erie at bottom of my chin – definitely not a good look for me.

Vancouver comedy troupe skewers Christmas in Merry Kiss-mas. It was a night of great improv comedy. For 90 minutes the audience giggled and howled.
