ICI instructor bio:

Lauren McGibbon began her improv training at VTSL in 2009 and has been a Mainstage Ensemble member since 2012. Lauren has also trained at Instant Theatre, Second City Hollywood and The Groundlings company. Lauren has appeared at international improv festivals including Edmonton’s Rapid Fire Theatre Improvaganza Fest, Vancouver International Improv Fest, Seattle Improv Fest and PHIT’s Düofest in Philadelphia. Lauren has trained with Kate Twa and John Cassini at Railtown Actors Studio since 2012 and in 2016 directed a longform improvised play for the Railtown Lab Series. As a film and television actor Lauren can be seen in many Vancouver filmed productions, most recently appearing in Lemony Snickettes A Series of Unfortunate Events and the comedy feature The Buddy Games directed by Josh Duhmal. Lauren joined the teaching faculty of VTSL’s Improv Comedy Institute in 2017 and has previously taught acting, improv and sketch at SchoolCreative, Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts and Railtown Actors Studio.
