2. How can I check the
availability of one of your shows?
The best way to check availability is to go to
tickets.vtsl.com.
There you can see the availability of all of our upcoming shows.
Alternatively, you are more than welcome to phone our administrative office
during regular business hours (M-F) at 604.738.7013. If you are calling in the
evening you can try calling the box office at 604.738.7013 x31. The box office
is quite busy during show times, and if we aren’t able to answer your call,
please leave a message and we’ll be sure to return your call within 48 hours.
3. I’ve already purchased tickets
to one of your shows and some friends have decided they would like to come as
well. Can we all sit together?
We operate under reserved seating. You could purchase your additional tickets
online at tickets.vtsl.com. If you select the same section that your previous
tickets are in, the system will provide you with the “best available seating”.
Alternatively you could try to buy your additional tickets at our box office. We
will do our best to help you get your friends seated as close to you as
possible. Please note tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. 4. How can I get tickets to see
one of your shows if I have a gift card, a coupon or a voucher?
Gift Cards, Vouchers and Coupons all need to be processed through our box office
during box office hours. At this point we are unable to process these through
our online ticketing system. If you have a gift card, you can give us a call at
the 604.738.7013 x31 and we’ll hold some seats for you.
5. Can I reserve seats to one of
your shows and then pay at the door?
We are unable to take reservations – but tickets may be purchased in advance
online or at the Box Office.
6. How much does it cost to see
one of your shows?
Our ticket prices vary depending on the show. For all of our ticket prices
please visit our ticket page.
7. Is The Improv Centre wheelchair accessible?
We are wheelchair accessible and would be happy to help you and your group with
seating. Please email boxoffice@vtsl.com,
phone 604.738.7013 x 31, or visit the Box Office, at 1502 Duranleau Street on
Granville Island to book your tickets. 8. Where and when do I pick up my
tickets?
If you purchased your tickets online you were given the option to have your
tickets mailed or to pick them up at will call. If you chose will call, please
print off your booking confirmation (this is emailed to you upon booking your
tickets) or show it on your mobile device, and present it to the Box Office
anytime after 6pm, on the night of your show and we’ll have your tickets ready
for you! 9. How early should I arrive for
the show?
If you’ve already purchased your tickets, we recommend arriving at least 30
minutes prior to the show start time. This will give you enough time to claim
your tickets at will call, visit the Neil Macrae Bar & Lounge for a drink and
find your seats! 10. What is your latecomer policy?
Performances start at the time indicated on your ticket. In the interest of
all guests, and at the discretion of the Front of House Staff, latecomers will
not be seated until a suitable break in the performance (in most cases, not
until intermission).
11. What if I can’t make it to
the show?
All ticket sales are final and unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds,
however we recommend that you don’t let your tickets go to waste. You can pass
on your booking confirmation to a friend, and as long as they have that document
(either printed or shown on their mobile device) they will be able to claim your
tickets. Alternatively, there is a non-profit organization called Kids Up Front
that takes tickets you aren’t able to use to give to children and their
families. Please see
http://www.kidsupfrontvancouver.com/ for more information. GENERAL QUESTIONS:
1. Will I get “picked on” by the
performers if I sit up close?
We encourage audience participation for all of our shows, but we would never ask
an audience member to come up on stage or participate if they didn’t want to,
regardless of where they’re seated! 2. Do you serve food?
We have a full service bar, and we encourage you to bring your beverage into the
theatre, for the show. Although we don’t have a full food menu, we have snacks
available for purchase. 3. Can I bring children to your
shows?
We strive to offer programming which is accessible to all ages. That being said,
we do not allow children under the age of the three in our theatre. The content
of our shows generally reflects what you would find on TV during that time of
the evening. The later the show, the more adult appropriate it becomes. Please
note, we are a licensed facility and all minors must be accompanied by an adult. 4. How can I get to you?
Granville Island is pedestrian and cycling friendly! We are accessible via
transit and have ample parking (majority of it is free after 7pm!) For more
information please follow this link:
http://www.granvilleisland.com/how-find-us. 5. What if I have more questions?
Please don’t hesitate to contact us during regular business hours: via email at
services@vtsl.com or call
604.738.7013 x10. Alternatively, during show times via email or
boxoffice@vtsl.com or call
604.738.7013 x31.
